ZAMMEDS, then a young and vibrant company was acquired on August 25, 1994 from a Manila based entrepreneur who for personal reasons had to sell the business and return home to Manila. The new management kept intact the company’s personality and goodwill by retaining the use of its registered business name now popularly known as ZAMMEDS, an abbreviation of Zamboanga Medical Supplies, Equipment and General Merchandise. Up to this date, we celebrate our anniversary ever August 25th of the year, the date when the Rodriguez family (Jesus, Carol and Luis) took over the management of ZAMMEDS.
